Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 23, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Bohdan Matviichuk operating as a business registered in Poland (VAT ID / NIP: [Insert NIP]) ("PlanVault", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar client-side storage technologies (including Web Storage: localStorage and Session Storage) to recognize you when you visit our website at https://planvault.ai ("Website"). It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.
The public Website does not serve advertisements, engage in targeted advertising, or permit third parties to use tracking technologies for advertising purposes.
The public Website does not set authentication cookies. Authentication for the PlanVault application console is handled separately by the dashboard application and the identity provider, not by this landing Website.
"Cookie" and "Local Storage" refer to two different browser technologies with different expiration semantics. The public Website currently uses Local Storage only for functional display preferences explicitly set by you. Local Storage has no browser-native expiration attribute — entries persist until they are removed programmatically by the application or manually by the user via the browser's site-data controls.
The inventory of Local Storage entries below was last verified against the landing Website codebase on 23 May 2026. The "Last updated" date above reflects when this policy text was last revised.
Functional storage (user-requested, no consent required under EDPB 2/2023)
This entry stores display preferences that you explicitly set while using the public Website. It is not used for tracking, advertising, authentication, or analytics. You can reset it at any time via your browser's site-data controls.
| Name | Provider | Storage type | Lifetime | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|---|
planvault_display_prefs | planvault.ai | Local Storage | Until the user clears browser site data for planvault.ai | Stores public Website display preferences you have explicitly set: locale, theme mode (light/dark/system), and table density for legal/reference tables. |
No authentication or secret storage on the public Website
The public Website does not store authentication tokens, API keys, passwords, session identifiers, or other secrets in cookies, Local Storage, or Session Storage.
Authentication for the PlanVault application console is handled outside this landing Website. Console authentication storage is documented separately in the dashboard/application context.
What are cookies and Local Storage?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, Bohdan Matviichuk) are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called "third-party cookies." Cookie lifetime is controlled by the browser using the `Expires`, `Max-Age`, and `Session` attributes.
Local Storage (part of the Web Storage API standard) is a separate client-side storage mechanism scoped to a domain which, unlike cookies, is not automatically sent in HTTP requests. Local Storage has no browser-native expiration attribute (`Expires`, `Max-Age`, or `Session`): values persist until they are removed programmatically by the application or manually by the user. For Local Storage entries, the "Lifetime" column in the tables above therefore describes the actual application-level behavior, not a browser attribute.
How can I control cookies?
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. Additionally, you can manage your functional preferences at any time through the 'Privacy Settings' available in your PlanVault Admin Console. You may set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies. If you choose to reject cookies, you may still use our Website though your access to some functionality and areas of our Website may be restricted.
How often will you update this Cookie Policy?
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please revisit this Cookie Policy regularly to stay informed. The date at the top of this Cookie Policy indicates when it was last updated.
If you have any questions about our use of cookies or other technologies, please contact us at support@planvault.ai.
